Brides bouquet and a moment...

The bride used her grand-mothers heirloom handkerchief to wrap around the bottom of her bouquet. ( I caught the moment of Mother of the Bride and her father as she showed him the handkerchief.) Such a sweet moment in time. Kathy you were beautiful inside and all over that night.

Trumpet vases filled with Lisianthus, white roses and Agapanthus

Hurricane, pedestal table arrangement. The brides Mom found these water gel balls, to fill in with the themed color. They start out the size of rice and she added water. They looked pretty across the room.

The variegated lisianthus was exactly what the bride wanted.

The bridal colors were Aqua and Black. We used agapanthus and hydrangeas mainly.

This bride chose pops of pink for her bridal portraits. Her bridal bouquet will be mainly whites with a touch of light pink. But for her fun bridal portrait day she wanted color!

McKinney Cotton Mill Wedding

The prettiest location in McKinney for a wedding. They have done a amazing job of restoring this old building and have rooms for every size of wedding or party. This wedding took place in the outside area of the Mill. Two stories high and no ceiling.

Just a sneak peak at my pictures, professionals to follow.

My back is to the entrance. You walk down the sidewalk through the buildings to enter.

We had to move the altar arrangements into the shade. It got to 69 degrees and was bit warm with no ceiling, open air and windy.

Antique Hydrangeas, Bells of Ireland, stargazer and asiatic lilies, mini green hydrangeas and gladiolas. The bells were appropriate as St. Pats is next week. Not why they used them, just liked them.

Pew Markers were iron with lanterns.

Wedding ceremony site. Sorry little girl was playing with the ball, I forgot to move before I snapped the shot.

Olympic bouquets - Vancouver

I am liking the look of the Vancouver bouquets for the medalists. The contract for two florists was for 1800 bouquets. They had to be frugal, they wanted native flowers but, hey winter olympics, none in bloom. They went with green spider chrysanthemums, hypericum berries, aspidistra leaves, leather leaves and monkey grass.

Centerpiece of Gerbera Daisies and Agapanthus

Would be wonderful centerpieces and very affordable. The arrangement includes 4-5 gerberas and 4-5 stems of Agapantha. Base of vase filled with limes for color contrast. This could be done for $35.00 per table.

It was snow, parties and house decorations! Snow blanketed outside candelier decorated with fresh greens and ribbon. Party flowers were white roses, gerberas and lillies. Mantel decorations used fresh greens, magnolia leaves and aqua flowers (Eryngium blue, sea holly) and peacock feathers.

Peonies seem to be one of the hot wedding flowers and why not they open for a full beautiful feathery bloom. What a huge impact and WOW factor. Orchids mixed with this arrangement for the cake and favor table. Everything looked yummy together.
